The dual strainer design is unique, with a tight tune on the carbons, and a looser setup for the stainless wires. The 6 and 8 lug systems deliver an airy, open highlight to the sound, both on stage and in the studio. The hand-finished black lacquer shell gets the same treatment Yamaha uses on its grand pianos!
